Mazda 3 Door Locks Defect

We are investigating potential defective door lock cases involving Mazda 3 motor vehicles.

Numerous Mazda 3 owners of 2004 - 2007 models have reported break-ins to their vehicles. The break-ins have occurred without the usual visible signs of breaking and entering such as broken glass or tampered door locks.

These vehicles are reportedly easily broken into by a forceful side blow to the driver's or front passenger's door, which affects the lock assembly mechanism which in turn unlocks the doors and disengages the alarm. On return to their vehicles, these Mazda 3 owners have found their valuables stolen and their doors dented.

Should you own or lease a Mazda 3 and your vehicle has been broken into in this manner, you may have a case against the manufacturer. For an evaluation of your claim, please contact our firm at (604) 583-2200.
